『For You Who Are The Wronged』は2018年の『From When I Wake The Want Is』、2015年のデビュー作『Bones You Have Thrown Me And Blood I've Spilled』（スコティッシュ・アルバム・オブ・ザ・イヤー受賞）に続く待望のアルバムとなる。『From When I Wake The Want Is』が愛が戻る為に書かれた作品だとすれば、本作は、その愛を歯を食いしばって守る為に書かれた作品だ。Kathryn Joseph自身がアルバムの曲を書き、フォート・ウィリアムのスタジオ、The Lengthsでレコーディングを実施。Kathryn JosephとLomond Campbell（One Little Independentのレコーディング・アーティストで、過去にKing Creosoteの作品をプロデュース）の共同プロデュースとなる。
