- 2017年4月、15年振りとなるシングルを発表したマット・ジョンソンのプロジェクト、ザ・ザ。およそ20年振りとなるライヴを行うこともアナウンスした彼らが3枚組のボックス・セットをリリース。ジョニー・マー他も参加した最新シングル「ウィ・キャント・ストップ・ホワッツ・カミング」収録。
『Radio Cineola: Trilogy』と名付けられた3枚組のボックス・セットには、ニュー・シングル、ポエトリー、バンドの作品の様々なインタープリテーション(解釈)がフィーチャーされ、Matt Johnsonが主催するウェブ放送のマテリアルも収録される。『The End Of The Day』と題された1枚目のディスクには、世界中のシンガー達がThe Theの楽曲をインタープリテーション(解釈)したトラックや、The Theの最新シングル「We Can't Stop What's Coming」が収録される。2枚目の『The Inertia Variations』には、詩、サウンドスケープ、スポークン・ワードが収録される。具体的には、サウンドトラックの上にJohn Tottenham(イギリス生まれでLA在住の詩人)の詩に関するMatt Johnsonのナレーションをのせたもの等だ。3枚目の『Midnight To Midnight』には、Matt Johnsonが主催するウェブ放送からとられたインタヴューとサウンドスケープ、『The Inertia Variations 』のドキュメンタリーのエレクトリック・スコア、政治的評釈が収録される。
